2. Overview

This website is intentionally lean:

  • No cookies are set.
  • No analytics, tracking or advertising services are used.
  • Fonts are served locally from this server; there is no connection to Google Fonts or similar services.
  • No third-party content (such as videos, maps or calendar widgets) is embedded.

3. Hosting and server log files

When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically processes information transmitted by your browser (server log files). This typically includes IP address, date and time of access, requested page, referrer URL, browser type and operating system.

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable provision of the website. Log data is retained by the hosting provider only for as long as necessary for secure and stable operation and is deleted in accordance with the provider's applicable retention rules.

4. Contact by email or phone

If you send me an email or call me, I process the transmitted data (e.g. name, contact details, content of your enquiry) to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Links to external services

This website links to external services. Data is only transmitted to these providers once you actively click the respective link. From then on, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies:

  • Calendly (appointment booking) – Calendly LLC, USA
  • WhatsApp – WhatsApp Ireland Limited
  • LinkedIn – LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company
  • GitHub – GitHub, Inc., USA

Calendly and GitHub are based in the USA. If you use these services, your data may therefore also be processed in the USA.

Within the statutory framework, you have the right at any time to:

  • access your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
